Love this spot. We have ordered different pho, spring rolls, red and green curry, pineapple chicken, spicy basil chicken, pad Thai… I must be forgetting some. Tonight we ordered delivery and when on the phone she said they have a special. Chicken balls. BEST CHICKEN BALLS EVER. Just say yes to the specials. Also say yes to everything else. The food here makes me happy. If you’re a vegetarian- the lemongrass broth is heaven.

A pleasant surprise to eat such great viet food in Greektown! Selection and quality is so similar to viet shops in Chinatown. Staff are very friendly and great service. They have a robot server! My top picks: Beef bun vermicelli and rare beef pho. They also have a Pho Challenge, may the force be with you.

I recently visited Pho Challenge restaurant in Toronto and I was thoroughly impressed with the food. I ordered the Chicken Pho, which was absolutely delicious. The broth was flavorful and aromatic, and the chicken was cooked to perfection. The noodles were perfectly cooked as well, and there was a generous portion of fresh herbs and vegetables on the side. I also tried the Chicken Vermicelli, which was equally tasty. The chicken was tender and juicy, and the vermicelli noodles were perfectly cooked. The dish came with a variety of fresh vegetables and herbs, as well as a savory sauce that tied everything together. To top it off, I ordered the Mango Salad, which was a perfect complement to the other dishes. The mango was ripe and juicy, and the mix of herbs and vegetables provided a nice balance of flavors and textures. Overall, I highly recommend Pho Challenge restaurant for their delicious food and excellent service. The portions were generous, the prices were reasonable, and the staff was friendly and attentive. If you're looking for authentic Vietnamese cuisine, this is definitely a great place to check out.

This restaurant does not deserve all the 1 star reviews. It is easily the best authentic pho restaurant located in East York and I'll tell you why! We got the rare beef and beef ball pho and the pork chop with rice, and oh my... they were so delicious. I like to judge the quality of pho based on their broth, and I can tell they boiled the broth for a long time that's why it tasted so hearty, nutritious, and full of flavour. The atmosphere is definitely super chill and homey. Food came super fast and portions were very generous as well. This family-run restaurant definitely raised the bar for authentic pho and I can tell they put in a lot of love into their food! 5/5 stars!

Really solid Vietnamese family restaurant. Nice people. Make sure you get the hot Vietnamese coffee, it’s not on the menu!

The BBQ Pork vermicelli was great with the egg noodles although the sauce was a bit too sweet. The pho was decent. The broth was really light and the toppings were generous. I typically like broths with a stronger flavor and smaller bowl so that's why pho was 7/10 for me.

A nice Vietnamese place in Pape Village and a nice change within the many dominant Greek restaurants in the area. The interior is nice and the place is always kept clean. The times I've been here, the food is always good. Pho is definitely worth it here. Critiques I have of this place could be that music could be played or something, or even a radio channel. The place is kept dead silent, so the atmosphere could be very awkward if no one's talking. Or you could very much be able to eavesdrop on another table's conversation. On the off chance, the staff could be playing some Vietnamese news in the background, but that's pretty much it. Staff could also try to be more on the friendlier side. They aren't rude, more so cold and straightforward. Despite everything, I'd still come back here just for the food.

My family and I have been coming here since it opened. I think the pho here is the best I have tried in the city. Their broth stands out. The curries and the vermicelli bowls are also top picks here. We moved out of the neighbourhood a couple of years ago, but we come back here when we crave Vietnamese food as most other places just aren’t as good. Pho Challenge is a great family run restaurant.
